Position Summary:

A personality and approach that strongly represents our Core Values along with an enthusiastic, positive, supportive sales-focused attitude.

• Puts "Customers First, Always."
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
• Comfortable talking to customers about projects and conversationally suggesting sales.
• Willingness to be cross trained throughout the store, including at point of sales as cashier.
• Merchandising skills and abilities.
• Suggestive Sales
• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back room areas clean and organized.

Education/Training:

High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.

Experience:
Sales and /or Customer Service background with a personality that will support our Core Values and Mission.

Skills: 
Experience with hand tools, power tools and household maintenance a plus.
General knowledge of DIY projects, paint, hardware, plumbing and electrical a plus

Requirements:

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
Familiar with downtown San Diego parking regulations and restrictions

Rate of Pay: $17.75-$18.45/hr depending on experience
